The people seem nice and very attentive at Westview. They provide a smoke break a couple of times a day. The facility isn’t very new or very fancy but it appears to be clean. We toured Savannah Square and the location is good for our family. They have nice facilities, and they do lots of activities. We would like the little cottage that they have.

My mother was received into assisted living with warmth and caring professionals who knew just what to say and do with her dementia. The transition could have not been more seamless. They have a bar and a piano area, a theater room for movies, and rooms for arts, crafts, clothing or painting; that kind of stuff.
My husband needed extreme wound care and their wound care nurse Pressy was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about his needs and kept us very informed. Each time we saw our surgeon he would comment on how well the wound was being treated. We were very pleased with our CNA Joe as he always came when I had a question. We saw him every single day and often many times.

It’s more like a hospital room with a hospital-type bed, a television, a place to put your stuff, and it’s quite adequate. She’s in a wheelchair when she moves around, although she can walk some, and they take care of all that. The staff has been nice, and the whole place has been excellent. I have no problem with them or their operations except maybe stuff they have no control of. Residents are easily connected with the city of Savannah through a transportation service that drives them to local shops and activities throughout the metro area. Residents and their loved ones praise Savannah Square for offering a full slate of activities both on and off the property, including bingo and cocktail hours.

Right now, I am not too pleased with it. Some of the Med-techs are not very friendly and had been rude to my mom, but not all of them. There are several of them who are very good; they can't always have a perfect staff. They prepare the food in the independent facility and bring it over to the assisted, so sometimes the food is cold. They are living in a spacious one-bedroom, one-bath apartment.
