Luxor at Sayville provides specialized medical care and a full suite of rehabilitation services for those in Sayville, NY and surrounding communities. Too many residents for each aide. Not enough time spent with the residents. The Home is beginning to deteriorate in quality of life. I believe new management might be the problem. Also some senior staff have lost their sense of compassion, probably because they are stressed.
The staff is very friendly and very caring as were the residents. They present it like you're in an expensive restaurant. I've had three meals there that were delicious. I really didn't have a problem with the traffic part because that's not where she is. One problem I have with all of them though is that they charge to give the medicines.

The Bristal was fine, but it wasn’t the right fit for my mom. The people were so nice, and the place was clean. They took us around, showed us the rooms, and showed us different things that went on. There were activities going on when we went in there, and the dining room looked really nice. I was given a tour of this facility by Laura.
